I love looking at pictures of other people's quilts. I noticed a funny thing about this this week. There are a lot of pics with feet in them. I guess it is hard to take pics by your self. This fact just made me laugh. Happy sewing to all.

Just finished this top. I have never had a top go together this fast. Love this pattern thanks Sewing with Nancy on PBS Television.

Applique

Most people are scared of applique. Not me I look at it like this. If you draw crooked you can cut it straight. If you cut crooked you can sew the edge straight. And if all fails then just throw it away and go sew some straight lines and make blocks. Either way you get a quilt. Sewing is suppose to be fun.

Grandson quilt

Only took 3 months and 4 fabric stores.

Hand sewing

I love to add a little hand sewing to each quilt I make. Sometimes it is just the bindings. This is a slow process but we'll worth the effort. This what I'm working on.

Bought a little fabric today to help me use up some old stash so I can get new stash.LOL

My eyes hurt. Why do I sew back fabric with black thread at night.

Thread

I like good thread and am willing to pay for it. Would you put cheap gas in your car knowing it would break down " NO".
Then why would you use cheap thread that would break your sewing machine?

We call them scraps but they should be call organized scraps. Because we sort and move till they look just right.

Lady in the Lake

Second quilt I quilted this week. This one was pieced 10 years ago and I quit sewing . Nice to see even projects that are forgoten for a while are there waiting to be finished.

Stash

It takes a while to cut a strip of half your stash. Looking forward to the finished quilt.
